The couple will need to call the parish office, (210) 627.2064, to set up an appointment with Fr. More at least 6 months prior to the wedding date to prepare for this Sacrament. 
Weddings are held on SATURDAYS ONLY at 1:00 PM or 3:00 PM.

Our guidelines are intended to offer an overview and to clarify any questions you might have concerning the use of our parish church for weddings. The first step in wedding preparation is to make an appointment and meet with your pastor. If you are a parishioner at Mission San Francisco/ Cabrini, please contact the office.

We are unable to accept deposits for the use of our church without a letter from your pastor stating that he has met with the couple and he will allow the wedding to take place at Mission San Francisco de la Espada Catholic Church.

Mission San Francisco de la Espada and ST. Francis X Cabrini are active Catholic churches; therefore, we follow all Catholic guidelines for weddings,this includes making sure that marriage preparation is completed in your home parish. All documents need to be received at the Mission San Francisco de la Espada Parish Office two months prior to the wedding date.

Mission San Francisco de la Espada Parish does not provide marriage preparation or priest/deacons for non-parishioners. The couple must provide a Catholic priest or deacon in good standing for the rehearsal and ceremony. 

The fee for the use of our sacred space is $750.00 plus a deposit of $250.00. Once we have received a signed contract, the letter from your pastor, and the deposit of $ 250.00, we will reserve the date for you. Please make a check payable to Mission San Francisco de la Espada Catholic Church. The balance is due at least two months prior to the wedding.
